HTC Touch family is on expansion spree with HD, 3G and Viva, Diamond and opal models

HTC’s range of touch screen smartphones seems to be getting wider. Ever since The Taiwanese tiny tech maker launched the Touch HD, Touch 3G and Touch Viva and diamond there has been celebrations in the company.

1. The Touch HD - The Touch HD is an iPhone-style handset with a touch screen of 3.8-inch 480 x 800. It has Wi-Fi, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, stereo Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone socket and a 5-megapixel camera.

2. The 3G – The 3G is a high-end phone offers an unparallel touch phone experience having incorporated the HTC’s limited multi-touch TouchFLO system. It allows users to zoom and scroll websites single handed. it also comes with 3G as evident by its name and supports download speeds of up to 7.2Mbps via HSDPA. You can flawlessly access YouTube, Google Maps (with AGPS) and an integrated RSS reader. It also combines 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and a microSD slot.

3. The Viva – The Viva falls in affordable category of smartphones. It operates on TouchFLO system and is equipped with AGPS. May be the 2-megapixel camera be reason behind less price, however having a combination of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 and microSD slot will get value for money to the consumers.

4. HTC Touch Diamond or HTC 3700 - HTC Touch Diamond is a fusion of sensational and stunning aesthetics with unexampled innovation. The neat handset has benchmarked mobile communication being simple and beautiful. At 11.35 mm thick The Diamond unveils a modified Windows Mobile 6.1 and is the first handset to boast of Touchflo 3D, the newest version of Touchflo interface exclusive to the Touch series.

5. HTC Opal smartphone - HTC Opal smartphone seems to take forward the legacy of HTC Touch series.
